Tuna Casserole

Description:
Mum always made it when i was a kid. This is my best interpretation, i am sure it got some of it wrong and look forward to being corrected :)

I dont know all of the measurements and temperatures, you dont need to :)

Ingredients:
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • Vegies (broccoli, carrot, peas, corn)
  • 2 big tins of Tuna in brine
  • Potatoes
  • Cheese (optional)
Directions:
  1. Get some water boiling and chop up some spuds and start making mashed potatoes

  2. Melt a big bit of butter in the saucepan
  3. Add flour until its almost like a dough
  4. Off the heat add milk slowly and stir until you have a creamy sauce

  5. Add tuna and vegies to a casserole dish
  6. Cover with the sauce you just made
  7. Cover with the mash you just made
  8. Sprinkle some grated cheese on the top (not too much)

  9. Cook in the oven until the top is brown and the inside is all cooked
